Needs expansion
[edit]With its focus on controversies, this is like a People magazine article. Ellis has had a long and respected career of solid history writing. That needs more attention.--Parkwells (talk) 15:09, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Long? yes. Respected, NO! not a chance. Passionate sage, american sphinxand founding brothers for starters should be reclassified as historical fiction because much of what ellis tells the reader is make believe. His books are worse than tabloid because he wraps them in the respect that most people ( many times wrongly) attribute to respected colleges.
what a hoax on the reader and the truth. What is disappointments is that those professors who could have spoken up did not they just kept quiet. Notice that no scholars gie peer reviews on ellis that is because they would put themselves in his catagory. What Winkipedia needs to do ( if they are actually on the level and not in the pocket of the publishers is to start a running list of historians who lie and allow others to really tell the truth about these fictional history books) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.72.27.233 (talk) 09:34, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
I would take these criticisms a little more seriously if they came from someone with basic writing and grammatical skills.

- So, someone has to be an expert in grammar to make a valid point in your opinion? As wiki is home to much spurious information and poor grammar, one wonders why you're even here.
